Erabaki bat / One decision / 決めることを一つ
'Jan Niemand Pozik Dago' ez da formatu fisikoan eskuragarri izango
Azalpen asko eman nitzake, baina bat bakarra emango dut, garrantzitsuena: ez da beharrezkoa. Oso polita geratu da, baina ez jasangarri. Nahi duenak gune honetatik azalak eta hitzak inprima ditzake. Eskerrik asko!
ENTZUN!* ESKURATU!
*'Ez Gara Helduko Orduan' abesti berria hemen entzun.
I could give you many a reason, but I will only give you one: it's not necessary. The result was beautiful, yet not sustainable. Those who want it can download the artwork and the lyrics from this page anyway. Thank you!
GIVE IT A LISTEN!* GET IT!
*Lsiten to the new song 'Ez Gara Helduko Orduan' here.

Public announcements in the streets of Japan are common. (They tell children it's time to go home at dusk, for instance). There is a certain type no one wants to hear though: the one announcing a potential catastrophe. On March 11 2011 we had one of those. This track is inspired by the sound of these public announcements. The lyrics are dedicated to the victims of the earthquake and subsequent tsunami and Fukushima plant refugees, but also to the victims of misinformation. Following the terrible event, not a few western media embarked on the spreading of the idea that the worst was yet to come. Having no evidence on what they were publishing, thus showing their eagerness for something worse to happen and pushing thousands of expats to flee and their families to suffer unnecessarily.
The Quake (こちらは) by Jan Niemand
He slept but then the quake
His nap could not respect
The dream got then canceled
He had to take the plane
The guys with pens always know better
They show you things you cannot see
They shape your life, tell you what to do
And take their share of you and me
In your head, your head, congregated in your head
In your head, your head, congregated in your head
Her mother was so scared
She left with that month's rent
But then it was all fake
By then it was too late
The guys with mics, they want to kill you
The many deaths are not enough
They kill your loved ones, that's what they do
They worsen what's already bad
In your head, your head, congregated in your head
In your head, your head, congregated in your head
Well today and at nights
It seems you're living another life
And the tears that you cry
They're bound to die
And your mum and her grief
Well that's just something you won't forgive
The lost eyes and scared smiles
They're bound to be
You don't know what to do
But then not only you
Felt shame for thinking bad
Felt shame for feeling glad
The shortest time was made the longest
For many it will never end
You have to show you are the strongest
They do attack thus you defend
In your head...

Hey, it has been a long six months
I've been hearing you went wrong
You were always in my head
Babe, now I see it in your eyes
I can see through all the lies
You want me in your bed
We'll sing Buble, we'll sing Queen
And all the songs in between
Won't you come sing with me?
I'll pretend some random meet
Mornings by coffee machines
'Til you come sing with me
You see, you don't conceal it well
You're a dog and I'm the smell
You follow me behind
And I, I'm not better than you are
I'm a filthy dirty rug
I just want this to shine
We'll sing Buble, we'll sing Queen
And all the songs in between
Won't you come sing with me?
I'll pretend some random meet
Mornings by coffee machines
'Til you come sing with me
Aye, it has been the longest month
Since I came back you're my songs
There's nothing I can do
And you, pulling that you're made of ice
You want to put on that disguise
But there's nothing you can do
We'll sing Buble, we'll sing Queen
And all the songs in between
Won't you come sing with me?
I'll pretend some random meet
Mornings by coffee machines
'Til you come sing with me
We'll sing Buble, we'll sing Queen
And all the songs in between
Won't you come sing with me?
We can order some more beer
Karaoke'll set you free
Closer now, dance with me

sumida of mine
A song about people and places I miss/love.
Sumida of Mine by Jan Niemand
Sumida of Mine by Jan Niemand
Flow, flow Sumida of mine
and go around the world.
Say hi, hi to old friends of mine:
Spree, Thames, Ibaizabal.
If you find the time go to Gibraltar
and see what's cooking, alright?
Don't mind the knock, turn left when you're inside
and tell her that I still like
the way the sky pours down on her the light,
the smell of salt at times,
her cry for help and me turning my back.
Sorry, she had to grow up.
As for my mates, tell them that I'm fine
though beers they don't taste the same.
Ich liebe euch ta maite zaituztet
but I'm forgetting your names.
Flow, flow Sumida of mine
and go around the world.
Say hi, hi to old friends of mine:
fox, white shark, pottoka.
If you find the time go to Henties Baai,
the beach is long and it's wild.
Don't be afraid, the Himbas are alright,
tell them that I still like
the smell, the smell, the smell of salt
of salt, of salt at times,
her cry, cr-cry, her cry for help
and me turning my back.
As for my mates tell them that I'm fine
though beers they don't taste the same.
I found new friends and I'm doing great
but don't you forget my name
please don't you forget my name
don't, don't fo-forget my name.
and go around the world.

Silver Cruise by Röyksopp had no lyrics until Jan Niemand showed us, once again, he has no shame nor respect for anything. Enjoy it if you can, like it if you like, love it if you must.
Silver Cruise (by Röyksopp) by Jan Niemand
Silver Cruise
Wishing at stars, wishing it all, wishing to fall
Wanting to have what I have not
Well, I do not have what you've got
I can't control for whom I fall
I can't decide for whom I die
You can contrive my peace of mind
It's all ahead and so behind
And still we are wanting it all, wishing to fall
And something more, a silver cruise for me and you

Hara zaborrak dakarrena!
Txikitan solfeo ikasten hasi nintzen pianoa jotzeko asmo bakarrarekin. Lehenengo azterketa ofiziala ez nuen gainditu, trauma ikaragarria izan zen. Pentsa ezazue: eskoletan oso ondo pasatzen nuen, irakasle, guraso eta gurasoen lagunok doaia nuela esaten zidaten, azterketa ofizialara heldu, ordu erdi inguru partitura ikasi, baita buruz ikasi ere, azterketa gelara sartu eta piano batek suntsitu ninduen. Piano batek eta mototsez betetako gela batek.
Memorian, gelan zeuden guztiak motots-gona-zango-gurutzatudun emakumeak ziren. Pedro, nire irakaslea, ez nuen ikusi, izan ere azkenengo lerroan eserita zegoen. Memorian, baita ere, isiltasun pisutsu batek gela lotzen zuen eta lehio handi, altuetatik eguzki izpi kamutsek aire erlaxatua ematen zioten gelari. Baretasun faltsua. Horrek urduri jarri ninduen. Mahaira inguratu eta karnetak poltsikoari eutsi eta atera nahi ez izanak, tira ta tira gela osoak parre egin izanak ere ez zuen batere lagundu. Baina partitura buruz nekien eta baita ahots aski polita euki ere, aingeru baten modukoa.
Andre horrek pianoan lehenengo notak jo zituenean galdua nintzela ulertu nuen. Bakar-bakarrik sentitu nintzen, Gorg baten ondoan baino txikiago. Ez nuen inoiz piano batekin abestu, ez nekien nola, nondik hasi, are gutxiago nola jarraitu.
Beste bi urtez musika eskolekin jarraitu nuen, azterketa ofizialik egin gabe. Pedrok eskola itxi zuenean eta beste eskola batetara sartzea ala ez erabaki behar nuenean, gertakari harekin gogoratuz apika, ez jarraitzea erabaki nuen. Ingurune berri batetan gauza bera gerta zekidakeen. Koldarkeri horrekin damutuko nintzen.
Baina Tokiora itzuli eta azkenengo pare bat hilabetetan piano elektriko hau ikusi dut botatzeko gauzen artean, niri deika, xuxurlatuz batzuetan, oihuka besteetan. Etxegunari ea zebilen galdetzea pentsatu nuen hainbatetan baina ez nuen inoiz egin, kablerik ez nion eta aurkitu. Aurreko egunean pilekin ere badabilenaz konturatu nintzen eta erosi nituen. Eta badabil! Hautsa kendu, gelara igo eta lehenengo saiakeren ostean abesti berri bat laguntzeko musika atera dut. Musikak barrua zertxobait pizten dit, ala? :)
